Very rare Antique Nantucket Lightboat "One Egg" Basket. A wonderful and very collectible diminutive basket. The basket is marked in pencil cursive, what appears to be 'A.C or 'A.G.' and has the number '50' below that.
The basket is in very good condition with only one small break (see last image) and has a great patina. The handle is fully intact.
It measures about 3.75"high and 4.5"across. With handle up it measures about 6" high.
